CaseworkAI (“the Service”) is a free document generation tool operated as a community project at caseworkai.org by Tom R.. It converts rough case notes into structured draft documents for professional review. It is a drafting assistant only. It does not make professional assessments, clinical decisions, safeguarding determinations or legal judgements. By using CaseworkAI you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Every document generated by CaseworkAI is a draft. It must be reviewed, verified and approved by a qualified professional before submission to any person, organisation, court, government body or official record.
By using CaseworkAI you confirm that you will: read every generated document in full before submitting it; verify that it accurately reflects the facts of the case; take full professional responsibility for any document you submit; and not represent a CaseworkAI-generated document as anything other than a draft you have reviewed.
CaseworkAI is intended for qualified social workers, NGO case managers, community health and welfare workers, and social work students under appropriate supervision. You must be 18 or older. The Service is not for use by clients, service users or children.
You are responsible for complying with all confidentiality obligations, professional codes of conduct and data protection law applicable in your jurisdiction. You must use client initials or reference codes only. You must not submit a client’s full name.
Your use of CaseworkAI does not alter your professional obligations. You remain bound by the standards and regulations of your professional body, employer and jurisdiction at all times.
You are responsible for providing accurate information. The quality of output depends entirely on the quality of your input. CaseworkAI generates documents based solely on what you provide.
CaseworkAI does not assess risk or identify safeguarding concerns. It does not replace professional judgement in any safeguarding situation. Where safeguarding concerns exist you must follow your organisation’s procedures and your professional obligations regardless of anything in a generated document.
