Contributions keep CaseworkAI free.

CaseworkAI is free for individual social workers, and always will be. Voluntary contributions from users cover the running costs — AI API, hosting, email delivery — and keep the tool available to workers who can’t afford paid alternatives.

Nothing on this page is required. If CaseworkAI saved you time on a document and you can spare something, this is where you can. If you can’t, please keep using it. That was the whole point.

What your contribution covers

Every document CaseworkAI generates costs real money to produce. The AI processing, the email delivery, the hosting, the domain, the ICO registration — all of it comes out of one volunteer developer’s pocket. Contributions from users are what allow CaseworkAI to stay free at the point of use for individual workers, particularly frontline staff in low-income countries who can’t justify a subscription.

What it doesn’t do

A contribution here does not unlock features, remove limits, or change your access in any way. There is nothing to unlock. Every user, contributor or not, gets the same free tool. This is a way to give back, not a way to buy something.

An honest note on where the money goes

CaseworkAI is not a registered charity, and contributions are not tax deductible. It is a volunteer-run tool, and contributions go directly to the person running it (Tom Riby, ICO Reg. ZC132263). The money covers running costs first, and any remainder goes to keeping the tool developing and improving. If you’d prefer to contribute to a related registered charity instead, please do — the African Social Work and Development Network (ASWDNet) is a good place to start.
